Robert Frost (1874 - 1963) Mathematician Catherine Roberts of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts has developed a Grand Canyon River Trip Simulator (GCRTSim) to allow the thousands of visitors to the Grand Canyon section to experience wilderness instead of the congestion that can arise from the multitudes of people on the waterway. By analysing the decision patterns of groups using the canyon, she hopes to advise on tour schedules and number of people in the park. See the artilce in January 13th's Nature magazine.
